On the same date, 28 years before, the US-supported military overthrow of Chilean President Salvador Allende ushered in 17 years of autocratic rule under dictator Augusto Pinochet, leaving more than 3,000 dead and countless victims of torture.

Inspired by the Soviet avant-garde phase of Russian constructivism, this music film is based on the song “Autumn”, composed by Vadim Kozin in 1939. Recorded and filmed in Los Angeles over the span of three months, the music film in the style of music video reevaluates the era of Soviet utopia in the light of Kozin’s diary entries of 1955-56, and examines the singer’s own psychological states of mind in the midst of chaos, depression and totalitarianism.
